How do I clean my LG LED 23′ flat screen computer monitor?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: flat screen computer monitor

I used some cleaning stuff I used for my flatscreen tv, and now I have streaks, I assumed it would work great since it works good for the TV but now I have streaks on my screen..How do I get rid of the streaks and clean this monitor properly..Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I usually clean with a soft cloth humid with water. Should be perfectly safe to clean. But can you help me a bit? Do you own a E50 series monitor? Does the blue colors look right on your monitor? I do own a E50 series and the deep blue tones (like bayside blue) looks annoying purple. Even the google text (soft blue) looks like a pale awful purple. Is that right for these led monitors? Thanks for any info on this.

Tablet pc vs desktop computers?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: pc desktop computers

Do you think the likes of ipads and other androids based devices are going to replace desktop computers?

Never. Desktops will always have too much power over them, and the free will to install whatever you want; like someone said before me with iPad you can only install stuff from the App Store. Gay.

That said, I do think they might replace laptops though. In July my current laptop will be 3, and I have thought, if I ever plan to replace my laptop, I might do it with a Tablet… I could change my mind though.

i am looking for free software to monitor computers on my network and see what they are doing or control them?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: monitor computers

I don’t want a program that controls my network configuration, just shows computers on my network and can secretly monitor and maybe control them.

know not any free network spy tools.
netspypro is a decent one with good price.

how do i make my home desktop computer wireless?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: home desktop computers

rogers coudnot connect the modem to the home desktop computer because there was no cable plugs available, so they have kept it in the master bedroom and the home desktop computer is in the 6th bedroom. but the rogers guy did say u can make it wireless bur i forgot what he had mentioned, please help :)
are modems and routers the same?
and how do i connect the router or where do i connect the router if thats different than a modem

It depends upon what the Rogers guy installed…

If he just installed a modem, that only connects to a single computer.

To go wireless, you’d need a wireless router (which lets you share the Internet connection among multiple computers in your house) plugged into the modem, plus a wireless adapter for your computer.

If your house is fairly big or there are multiple walls between the room where the modem sits and the bedroom, you’ll want something like these, which provide the greatest signal strength and range.

If the rooms with the modem and computer aren’t far apart, then you could go with Wireless-G equipment instead of wireless-N.

Now if the Rogers guy installed a wireless router (which can connect multiple computers) then you don’t need to buy one yourself. You’d just buy a USB wireless adapter.

If you only need to connect one computer, there’s another option. You can use a powerline adapter kit instead of going wireless. These adapters plug into the AC wall socket in each room, and aren’t affected by wireless interference or signal strength problems. Basically you convert a pair of power plugs in your house into network jacks.

Good luck!

Are there any static charge problems with desktop PCs ? Do they elevate with temperature ? How to fix them up?

Are there any static charge problems with desktop PCs ? Do they elevate with temperature ? How to fix them up ?

Static charges are not a problem. Dryness affects static charge, but it doesn’t affect them. Be sure they are grounded. The cooler the environment the longer they will last. Dust is the biggest problem as it works as an insulator on the ICs. If you’re not going to clean them on a regular basis, then air conditioning matters little.

My computer flat screen monitor stopped working, can it being bumped around mess it up that easy?

My computer flat screen monitor stopped working, can it being bumped around mess it up that easy?
It was working fine, then I unplugged it, took it with me in my car down this bumpy *** dirt road and now it won’t power up. The computer starts up but the monitor wont power at all. Could the bumpy road messed it up?

It’s possible, but I would check to ensure you hooked it back up correctly. Make sure that connections are secure on the monitor cable (both at the monitor and on the computer) and the power cable (both at the monitor and in the electrical outlet). Try a different outlet as well. Some monitors also have power switches. If yours has one, make sure it is on.
