Dell Mini 9 with Windows 7 Home Premium

I upgraded my Dell Mini 9 Netbook to 2GB of RAM and a 32GB Solid State Drive by Runcore. Then, I ditched the SUPER GAY Linux Ubuntu that was preloaded. I tried to use Ubuntu but my brain just couldn’t figure it out. I think you have to literally be dancing around with your weiner tucked under like the Silence of the Lambs guy to actually be able to use Ubuntu. I felt as comfortable using it as I would smoking another dude’s pole and that is coincidentally the second requirement for using Ubuntu so I had to switch.

I installed Windows 7 Home Premium and now my Mini 9 went from Broadway Musicals and Liza Minelli to TOTALLY BAD AWESOME. Most netbooks can’t run Home Premium and at best come with Windows 7 Starter which is okay but I need Mediacenter to be able to stream my movies from my 2TB desktop computer. Problem solved.

I would recommend updating your Dell Mini 9 to a bigger SSD (16GB or higher) and throwing the 8GB one with Ubuntu into the garbage can. Or continue to use Ubuntu, move to San Francisco, become a dog trainer/groomer and you and your new “life partner” GAYLORD, can adopt a child and sit around and watch Ellen while you comb your Ken doll’s hair all day. The choice is yours.

How to Format My home Desktop computer and wants to upgrade to windows 7?

I have Little Problems on my pc i am using windows Xp 2000 and i also wants to upgrade it to xp 7 can somebody help me?

STEP 1 Start Setup
The first step is to insert the DVD into the drive and start the setup for upgrade.

STEP 2 Copy Files for upgrade
Now it is time to click on the ‘Install now’ option in the Windows 7 setup and the set-up will start copying the files required for installation. In the ‘Get important updates for installation’ page, try and get the latest updates for the security of your system.

STEP 3 Accept license terms
Now the licensing page appears. Just accept the license terms, click ‘I accept the license terms,’ and then click ‘Next.’

STEP 4 Upgrade
In the next step, choose ‘Custom’ on the ‘Which type of installation do you want?’ page if you want to upgrade from existing installation.

STEP 5 Click OK
Choose the C: when asked about the partition that contains Windows XP. Windows 7 will retain the original Windows folder but will call it Windows.old. Click ‘OK.’

STEP 6 Start upgrading
Follow the prompts to continue the installation. Once it is complete, your Windows 7 will be ready.

Why want Google Chrome update on my desktop home computer?

I have Google Chrome (both builds) on my desktop at home. When I click the "wrench" in the upper right corner of the browser at work it will update without any problem or show that it is up to date. But when I click the "wrench" at home it gives me "Error 3" and will not update.

Any suggestions?

I had that today..reinstalled google chrome…fixed

note:before reintstalling sync everything so you don’t have to remember passwords again, download extensions again..and etc

sync is in personal
