My dad is getting a flat screen Dell computer monitor, but he doesn’t know how many inches it should be?

How many inches do you think the computer monitor should be? We want it to be at least 20 inches, and space isn’t a problem. Thanks.
I’ve got a 22" widescreen monitor now and I wouldn’t go any smaller anymore. If space is not an issue you might even want to look at 24" models as they offer 1920×1200 resolution as opposed to 1680×1050 for 20" and 22" models.

19 is good. If the next upgrade is only a 50 bucks difference, get that. I think that’s a 21 or 22. After that, the upgrades start to be in the 100’s.

If space isn’t a problem, it depends on what you want to use it for. If you plan on watching videos, get as big as you can afford. Otherwise, don’t bother with a giant monitor because that just makes it hard to read. (Your eyes have to refocus when reading from the edge of the screen to the center if the monitor is large) A 24-inch monitor is usually a good size.

hi i have a 20 inch laptop and i have plenty of space because i have a laptop bag which i can then put my lap top any where hope it helps. I think 20 inches is perfect
