i have a EVGA 8800 …
i have a EVGA 8800 GT SC edition, and a 22″ 1680×1050 screen and i play GTA4, Crysis, Gears of War, CoD4, Empire TW, all the new graphic games on MAX (maybe full AA and AF on some of them) and get 27+ FPS on all of them. 4GB 800MHz and Core2Duo E8500.

Oh, you’re too funny. Say for example, if you had a Pentium D at 2GHz, and 8GB of DDR3 2000mhz RAM, you could keep adding more and more RAM to try to get it to go faster. Although it wouldn’t, because your processor would be bottlnecking the RAM, since it wouldn’t be able to keep up with it.
And considering that the processor is basically the central hub between everything else in your computer, I’m pretty sure that the processor is one of the most important aspects when it comes to speed.

All of that is worthless with a mb. If you have a good mb then you can oc and increase your fsb or bclk on the i7.
