BT Home Hub and new wireless desktop pc – Do i still need ethernet cable to the Hub?
Posted by: admin : Category: pc desktop computers
Just bought a Vista pc with wireless
Was using the BT Home Hub with an ethernet cable before
Now the new desktop computer is wireless do i still need to plug in the ethernet cable?
Know with laptops you do not
But this is a desktop computer.
Also if not will the connection be as good?
No just plug your router in plug your lead into the
computer and away you go, good luck.

No, you don't – by default, the wireless password is the one on the label on the back of the hub.

I have never used that hub before. Is that a access point? If you were connecting to it wirelessly before then you can connect with anything that has a wireless adapter.
