Can i use a Hard drive from an old desktop Pc as an external HDD for my laptop?

I have an old hard drive form a windows 98 desktop computer, and i ran outta space on my new laptop. is it possible to use the HDD from the 98 PC as an external for my laptop?

Yes it is very possible. You will need an enclosure or a case for it and you should be able to just plug it in and you’ll be gtg.

    I would go with an enclosure, as the adapters are unwieldy – lots of cables.
