with the i7 u can …
with the i7 u can overclock too to 4ghz and it wont need no other cooling, cuz it will be icy cold.
For the Intel next processor’s release dates i have a friend that recieved the i9 specs (westmere architecture, 6 core, HT) and he told me that for Q1 2010 we should probably have them, but u know, the dates can be wrong (:

The new Deneb cores …
The new Deneb cores processors can overclock like no tomorrow. I don’t mind going out of my way for cooling when you can overclock to 4 Ghz for $200.
Do you know when Intel’s planning on releasing their new processors?

yeah the guys @ …
yeah the guys @ nvidia just called me and asked i i could sell them the patent because they tried and (how??????) it didn’t work.
maybe we’ll see a new chip coming after gt300, like gt400mm with this architecture , where mm stays for marshmallows.
hope it wont be as pricy as the actual chips… aha , ’bout chips……. LOL!!!!

so when you made …
so when you made the geiger counter and if your microwave is on, you should see the marshmallows glowing a bit.
if they start to melt( beta-lambda-azthera waves) you’d better throw the working microwave with all the stuff inside in a lake, and then normally after an hour of 1800w microwaving you should have your nrw pc! hope that i was helpful!!
September 10th, 2009 at 7:46 am
yeah sure so the …
yeah sure so the microwaves don’t go outside of the microwave.
jus in case, to prevent from external microwave radiations, put in the microwave a fully charged LiPo battery and a car battery and you should be ok.
if you see some other radiations coming out of the microwave ( to measure them just take 2 marshmallows and screw them together o make a fully-functional geiger counter)

mmm, i disagree.
…
mmm, i disagree.
i’d better say that AMD is pretty fast and cheap, intel isnt that cheap but you have REAL processing power.
keep in mind that “raw processing power” is today used in servers, and intel xeons outperform opterons .
and there is also itanium 2 (and the forthcoming ones) so i’d better say that if you want power in your machine you’d go with intel, but it’s also true that is a matter of time before amd releases a very fast new processor that will outperform intel’s so let’s wait!!

how to build your own pc:
buy a cpu
put on it some toothpaste and place it the fridge for an hour ,then apply gently with a big hammer the cpu onto the white pci slot.
take 3kgs of strawberry jam and 20 marshmallows, then hold the marshmallows securely on the cpu tray with some screws. take some extra strong glue and apply the ram modules to the chipset. put the jam on it and rub your face all over it. then place it in a 1800w microwave for an hour and here you have your new working pc!!

Build your own PC. Follow this.
-
Place your System Memory (RAM) into the motherboard,
Apply your processor (But don’t force it) ,
then apply your heatsink with the thermal paste on it.
There should be a wire coming off the fan, that plugs into a power outlet on your motherboard near the CPU (On my Motherboard it is Brown)
Fix in your PSU, connect the power leads from the PSU, to the HDD, CD, GFX, Motherboard.
Add your hard drive and CD drive plug them in. Install Windows… Done!

I just recently …
I just recently bought an E8200 with an intel core 2 duo stock heatsink. the processer fit in perfectly but the heatsink did not. I used to have a Intel Pentium dual-core and the Pentuim dual-core stock heatsink, which u had 4 screws that fit in my mobo fine. BUT my new core 2 duo heat sink has 4 push-ins instead of the screws. The push-ins wont fit in the four little holes (thats what she said…) on my mobo. Any ideas?
P.S can i use my old Pentium dual-core stock heatsink for my E8200?

Stock coolers …
Stock coolers already have the paste
September 10th, 2009 at 7:46 am
Yes, it should be …
Yes, it should be applied.
The paste is what distributes the heat out of your CPU and into your heat sink.
