I now see what you were thinking (I am not going to lie I have some communication issues) But I can see what I dwelled on and based your intelligence off of was “that desktops are ancient” thing you said. That just doesn’t make sense and what I thought you were saying was that desktops where slower than laptops because of “significant RAM and hard disk drives” which you have to admit sounds alot like that. Sorry for the harsh words (I broke my cpu cooler

Awesomo4003, despite your young age, you’ll eventually learn how to cope with different opinions and perspectives when you encounter them. When it comes to convenience, personally, I think laptops are superior. Actually, laptops are outselling desktops now. I have both. Nevertheless, it all depends really on what tasks you wish to perform with your computer to determine whether a laptop or desktop is right for you. Take care.

Laptops are now superior with their significant RAM and hard disk drives. Desktops are just ancient. For gaming, buy a Wii or PS3.

i had that choice too but i picked desktop becouse of the ram and hard drive but now i regret it because new laptops are sweet they have a ton of ram and harddrive

I have fond …
I have fond memories of bringing my laptop round a friends house, setting up a LAN and playing StarCraft, Unreal Tournament and a few others. We did that a lot, it was sweet.
A laptop, despite being a worse games machine on the surface, can be the best. Playing older games on a friends LAN beats playing new games alone IMHO. And with a decent laptop you can play fairly recent games.
