Die kurze ZDF Doku reist zurueck in der Zeit, zu Windows 1.0 und den Streitigkeiten zwischen Microsoft und Apple. Mit der Serienreife des Altair 8800 sahen Bill Gates und Paul Allen ihre Chance und durch die Entwicklung von BASIC fuer Altair gelang ihnen der grosse Durchbruch. Auch auf Steve Jobs und Steven Wozniak, die sich auf einem Computer-Club-Treffen kennenlernten und aus deren Freundschaft die Firma Apple entstand, geht die Doku ein. Es ist sehr interessant, einmal die Anfänge dieser heutiger Konzerne und deren Geschichte, zum Beispiel Steve Jobs der in Sandalen losgezog um sich einige hunderttausend Dollar zu borgen, zu sehen. Auch die Geschichte der Hardware kommt nicht zu kurz und ist sehr interessant anzusehen.
